Acro carries real physical risk. We cannot remove it, but we reduce it together. By taking part, you accept that risk and take responsibility for your own safety, and for supporting the safety of others.
Safe Word: "Down"
Anyone can call "Down", anytime.
The trick stops immediately, no reason needed. Bases and spotters guide the flyer safely to the ground.
Consent & Boundaries
Ask before you touch or lift.
"No" is a complete answer, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. Zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
Sober Practice
Practise sober, always.
No drugs or alcohol before or during acro, spotting included. If you are under the influence, you cannot participate.
Spotting & Space
When in doubt, use a spotter.
Clear your space and check the surface before you start. Spotters stay ready and protect the head and neck first.
Communication
Everyone ready before you go.
Base, flyer and spotter all confirm. Say what you need and where your limits are, rather than criticising others.
Progress & Self-Awareness
Choose control over ambition.
Warm up and build step by step. Don't skip progressions. If something feels off, stop early.
When It Goes Wrong
Pause. Check in. Decide.
After an incident, check everyone is okay. If someone is hurt, stop and get the right care.
Hygiene & Clothing
Come clean and prepared.
Mind hair, nails, breath and sweat. Wear well-fitted, non-slip clothing with nothing that can hook fingers or toes.
Respect & Community
Look out for each other.
Everyone is welcome, all bodies and backgrounds. No body-shaming or discrimination. If something feels off, say it.
